About Ardgay Public Hall: Our new hall was rebuilt in 1969 to replace the original Balnagown Hall which was officially opened in 1892. The hall is available for all to use and continues to be the focus for many community activities. Our regular group activities include: Badminton, The Ladybird Club, Tia-chi and Scottish Country Dancing as well as hosting our Ardgay & District Community Council meetings. The hall also runs various fun events including our biennial auction, community markets, repair cafes and our annual xmas fair, and is available for private parties and weddings etc.
Community Markets: Following our very successful pilot of community markets in 2023, we're delighted to be developing this into coming years. Please see here more more info or to register for our 2024 Ardgay Community Markets.
EVENTS: You can see our regular events and booking info here

Seeking Volunteers: You can volunteer with Ardgay Hall in many different ways doing as little or as much as you like. For instance, you could help to pop tables out for events, helping with teas or raffles or general event organisation or join the committee who are working with other community groups to build on the hall's use and maintenance. If you'd like to run your own event, we'd be very happy to work with you to make it happen - that's what happened at our recent book fair. We have a team of about 20 committee members and volunteers, but we have many events in planning. The more volunteers we have, the more events we can run. Go on - come join the fun!
Web hosting: Many thanks to the very helpful Kualo who provide charities with free web hosting.
